Red Light Camera Location Changes

I admit that it has been a while since I've updated this blog and website, but I was surprised to see that some locations have been deleted. Up until now, the city has just been adding locations. Now it looks like they are taking some down, moving them, and adding more. At first I just thought the city was trying to pull one over on me, but then I remembered warning my parents about the camera at the corner of Irving Park & Western, but then when we passed the intersection, I couldn't see the cameras anywhere. So I confirmed myself that they have been in fact taking down cameras.

There are now 190 camera locations.

These are the intersections that no longer have a camera in place so no need to slam on the brakes at these intersections anymore. The city is quite wise to do this as I didn't even notice that they took the camera down.

Ashland & Roosevelt
Fullerton & Kedzie
Ontario & Kingsbury
State & Roosevelt
Western & Irving Park

These are the newest locations that have been added in the last 12 months:
Clark & Chicago
Illinois & Columbus
Kedzie & 26th
Central & Addison
Kostner & Division
Laramie & Madison
